focusing on sustainability, a packaging concept for a hanging lamp series was created emphasizing design with materials that are flexible, elegant and functional to allow for maximal usability. package transforms into the product to reduce waste. the sleeve containing the logo and instructions is the only piece that will be discarded, but is still recyclable.

the playful yet stable design was created to motivate local designers to attend the aiga alaska member recruitment party and inspire them join the aiga alaska start up group. whimsical type and "badge" shape design was used to stimulate a new approach and establish a fresh design approach needed in alaska.

Created out of necessity, this quick access guide to print production highlights important information to complete a printed project correctly, the first time. The colors reflect the linear aspect to the printing process while conveniently sectioning out the book. Describing ways to complete a job in easy to understand language will also help market the book as a key item in any designer's library.

Meshing a human symbol, modern clean lines, with hints of the city of Anchorage, the event’s collateral focused on the notion that anyone can commute to work by bike. Printed poster feel resembled screen printed method to enhance urban grit and “green” design without feeling homemade.

Thinking a bit sideways, this new brand strategy company acts differently than the rest. Playing off letter shapes and white space, created an identity that promotes smart design. This brand is worthy of re-branding other top global brands.

promoting traditional chinese healing with a calm and professional approach was the main goal of this new acupuncture studio in an upscale northern suburb of chicago. developed branding that would compete well with other luxury brands while still maintaining the integrity of a medical office.


bento babble book (5x7in)
personal project created for a portland, oregon book show to personify a very vocal and persistent feline, bento, that inhabits our home. book was constructed by hand and utilized print making techniques; relief, xerox transfer and intaglio, as well as pen drawing and colored pencil to capture the textured personality of a curiously outspoken feline.
